Step 1: Determining the service that fits your paper

Step 2: Partnering with an exclusive project manager and editor

From the get-go, you will be assigned an exclusive project manager and editor to work on your manuscript, regardless of the service you decide to get. This is because, with every manuscript, the process from writing and editing to submission will take time and a lot of back-and-forths. You can breathe easy knowing that the people collaborating with you will be there until your manuscript’s publication.

Step 3: Progress monitoring with LEX-Cloud

With LEX-Cloud, you are always in control. Our fast, easy-to-use dashboard allows you to streamline the process the way you want it. Track project completion with our real-time progress overview and communicate with your assigned project manager directly (if at all necessary). No need to open your inbox every time!

Step 4: Editing your manuscript

- Editing: If you availed of editing, your editor would revise your manuscript to ensure a professional tone appropriate for any international journal article.

- Guidance: If you availed of our Journal Selection or Expert Review, the detailed assessment would be carefully crafted by another researcher in the same field, complete with comments on how to improve your paper’s significance, novelty, and chances of publication.

Step 5: Checking your revised manuscript

Once the service is done by our editors, linguists, and expert reviewers, your manuscript or report will be ready for download on LEX-Cloud. With every output, we aim for your 100% satisfaction, so let us know if there’s anything you need to be revised, and we’ll do the rest.

Step 6: Submitting to a journal

Everything from logging on to the journal submission portal, uploading the manuscript, filling out the information, and rechecking if everything’s in order will be handled by your assigned editor.

Step 7: Communicating with the journal’s editorial board

There will be times when the editorial board will reach out to you for clarifications or request further information. We can write the responses and even send them ourselves, all with your approval. Some authors may not have enough time to do anything else other than writing, so we do our part to make sure that we accomplish all the other steps to get their manuscript ready for publication.

Step 8: Revising after journal decision

Once the editorial board sends an update, we can expect one of these four results, and we have an action plan for each of them. We provide further editing free of charge as long as you availed of our General Editing or Scholar Editing services.

Rejection

If we get specific details regarding the rejection, we check if these are calls for further revision, and we do our part. If you wish to submit to a different journal, simply avail of Formatting, and we can work on this new journey together.

Major revision

There may be some parts that would require content to be changed by part or completely depending on the reviewers’ comments, so further writing may be needed from your end. After your revisions, we do everything to finalize it for resubmission.

Minor revision

We analyze the comments and make sure we make the changes to accommodate the requests of the reviewers, for your review and further revision before resubmission.

We celebrate, and then we make sure the journal has all the information required from your end to complete publication.
